Couldn’t snag tickets to Taylor Swift’s shows in Chicago? It’s a cruel summer but you can somewhat comfort yourself with a scrumptious bite from new pop-up vendor All Too Well at the Market. The deli and shop—also helmed by Evette’s owner Mitchell AbouJamra—is named after an acclaimed Swift song and will be slinging some of its signature sandwiches between June 1-7. Stop in to try creations like Taylor’s Version, a turkey-and-ham sandwich with hummus, tomatoes, cucumber yogurt and smoked provolone, and I Make You Lamb featuring shredded lamb leg, whipped feta, chimichurri, mayo, smoked provolone and fried onions.
Aboujamra’s family has owned deli’s, butcher shops & neighborhood markets for decades. “We know this business ALL TOO WELL! And yes, the name was inspired by Taylor. No…it’s not an Easter egg. Yes…I hope she knows we exist!”
The sandwich menu takes the classic sandwiches Aboujamra grew up with and puts his culinary experience on them.
