Goodbye 2018, hello 2019!
The food hall serves up the best of the city under one roof, all year round. On the last day of the year it will be open from 10am, closing at 7pm, but that does not mean you can’t see the New Year in at the Time Out Market. On the contrary – there will be lots of fun to enjoy. Take note: Time Out Studio NYE 2019 – It’s a groovy celebration! The big farewell to 2018 will be at the Time Out Studio with a party from Match Attack. Da Chick headlines on a night of Disco Fever that promises lots of music, dancing and glitter. The idea of this ‘groovy celebration’ “is to bring the Soul Train spirit into Studio 54”, according to Da Chick, who has invited to the party a number of fellow DJs who share the same taste for the groovy universe: Bill Onair, Bandido$, Antoine Gilleron, Radio Cacheu and Jeff Lennon. Together they will take Lisbon to Manhattan on board a train full of soul that will only stop at Studio 54. It’s an all-night affair, celebrating groove, starting in 2018 and only stopping in 1973. Or 2019. Get yo’ groove on! Tickets €15, on sale at www.ticketline.pt and at the Time Out shop. Restaurante Pap’Açôrda On 31 December, the restaurants in the Time Out Market will be closing earlier than usual (at 7pm) but you can still have your last dinner of the year at Pap’Açôrda, on the first floor of the market hall. That night the restaurant will be serving to diners who book ahead, who can order à la carte though from a more limited menu than usual that has been designed especially by chef Manuela Brandão for this night. To book your table call 21 346 4811 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Rive-Rouge After the last dinner of the year, the party continues in Rive-Rouge. The full programme is not yet settled, but the Market’s bar and disco will be on board the train to 2019. More information soon.
