What If – André de Freitas

André de Freitas is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who made history in Portugal as the first Portuguese comedian to present a stand-up show entirely in English at the Edinburgh Festival, as well as at the Los Angeles Comedy Store. His debut show – “What If” – was critically acclaimed, receiving several 5-star reviews and also making it onto The Telegraph’s list of funniest jokes of the 2023 Fringe.

André is also the creator and co-star of the popular phenomenon Comedy Therapy, a live format that combines comedy and mental health. The live show has turned into a podcast, quickly reaching the top 3 in Portugal. So far, André has opened shows for Jim Gaffigan, Jim Jefferies, Alan Carr, Russell Peters, and TJ Miller on tours around the world.
